Notice of Death
It is with great sadness that we have received the news of the passing of the Rev. Canon Alfred Matthew Peter Minnaar, a priest in the church of God in our Diocese.
We offer you, his family, colleagues and friends, our thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes during this dark time in your life. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead.
We thank God for Revd. Can. A.M.P. Minnaar’s life and witness over the past four decades. He served the church in various capacities as an Ordained minister and was active as a member of ecumenical fraternals in the places where he served. As we mourn his passing, we recognize and remembers his invaluable contribution to the church, and he will be remembered as one of the great leaders of the church in the Diocese of George.
We take this opportunity to convey our sincere condolences to the members of the bereaved family and the Church of Christ in the Diocese of George.
May his soul rest in peace and may his memory be eternal.
Please note that a Memorial Requiem Mass will be conducted for the Diocesan Cleric and Lay Family and be Presided over by myself on Thursday 03 April 2025 at 18:30pm at the Cathedral Church of St. Mark the Evangelist George.
