Sacred Synod 2026

The Bishop of George, The Right Revd. Edwin Pockpass, has called the Sacred Synod of the Diocese of George to gather from 22–24 July 2026 at St. Paul’s Parish, Conville.

The Sacred Synod is an important gathering in the life of our Diocese, bringing together clergy and lay representatives from across our parishes to pray, discern, deliberate, and seek God’s guidance for the mission and ministry of the Church.

As we prepare for this significant occasion, we invite all members of the Diocese to uphold the Bishop, clergy, delegates, and all involved in your prayers. May the Holy Spirit lead and inspire the Synod’s discussions and decisions, strengthening our shared witness to the Gospel and deepening our unity in Christ.
